So according to an unbiased system, based only on win % against D1 and margins of victory, the Mountain West Conference is the 5th best conference and well deserving of an automatic bid to a BCS bowl! Better than the PAC or the Big East this year. Well, they are usually better than the Big East, which gets an automatic bid.
